I was expecting this vintage SM/ fetish magazine to be a little more sexually graphic, but it wasn’t. Yes, there is a photo spread of a couple hot leather daddies that are featured on the front and back, but there are also at least two photo sets of just regular ole’ twinks sucking and fucking.
“Whipcrack” was printed as black and white photos with a couple pages adorned with one-color trim here and there to make it more interesting. (I like the maroon on the cover.)
The photography is very intimate in that it incorporates a lot of extreme close-ups. You often don’t get a sense of the setting or the physiques of the men because it’s so close-up. However, for fetish and SM, the closer you are, the more painful. The use some rope, tit clamps, clothes pins, cock rings and full leather chaps, vests, jackets and boots.
